FAQ

GPT Image 2.6 · FAQ

How do I edit just one part of an image?

In Image to Image mode, upload the image to edit and add a PNG mask with the same pixel dimensions as the first reference. Transparent areas mark where to edit, and opaque areas mark what to keep. Describe the change in the prompt.

Can I use different references for the subject and style?

Image to Image accepts up to 16 JPG, PNG or WebP references. Put the main image first and explain what to use from the others, for example, “Keep the product shape from the first image and use the lighting from the second.”

Can I generate an exact 1080 × 1920 image?

Custom width and height must be multiples of 16, so 1080 is unavailable. Enter 1088 × 1920 and crop afterward. Each side can be at most 3840 pixels, the total must be 655,360–8,294,400 pixels, and the long side can be at most three times the short side.

Can I make a product image with a transparent background?

Choose Transparent (Preview) in the background settings. Inspect the edges on light and dark backgrounds, especially around hair, glass and other partly transparent details. Mask transparency controls where edits are applied. The background setting controls output transparency.

How do I download just one image from a batch?

Select the thumbnail you want in the results panel, confirm the full preview, then choose the download icon. You can download an existing image without generating it again.
